| Applied Energy provides a forum for information
and ideas in the area of energy conversion, conservation, and the
optimal management and use of energy and power resources. The journal
publishes original papers, reports, and reviews and authors are encouraged to submit manuscripts which bridge the gaps between research, development, and implementation. The breadth of coverage ranges from ambient energy, through combustion and processes of electricity release, to the economic use of power in industry. Applied Energy is also concerned with the attendant problems of modelling and forecasting, risk assessment, conservation strategies, sustainability and the environmental and social impacts of energy policies and usage. The audience includes mechanical, chemical, civil, electrical, consulting and design engineers, building scientists, architects, research workers in energy conservation and efficiency, alternative and fossil fuel energy sources, and renewable energies.
